So here she is, everyone’s favourite girl next door, Jennifer Lawrence. The girl whose loveable antics - not to mention critically acclaimed acting skills - have made her a household name all over the world within a very short space of time indeed. And is it any wonder when the girl is not only able to inspire you with her talent and beauty, but also able to make you crack up laughing with her unassuming quick wit and adorable clumsiness.

Despite already having a notable list of films under her belt, it was really the role of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games trilogy that made everyone sit up and take notice of Jennifer Lawrence. And from 2012 onwards (when the first film was released) came an equally impressive roster of premiere dresses, almost as daring as Katniss’s inspired outfits in the films. The most recent worldwide premieres and press calls for The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 (above left) are no exception, with Jennifer sporting a vast array of dreamy Dior masterpieces.

Jennifer’s awe-inspiring collection of Dior dresses, which have been displayed on many a red carpet (including the Oscars, Baftas and Golden Globes), are no accident; she is, of course, the face of the world-renowned French fashion house and has starred in four incredibly successful campaigns to date, with her understated beauty jumping off the page at anyone who lays eyes on her.

But perhaps the most important thing to note about Jennifer Lawrence is her refreshingly grounded outlook on the celebrity world and her exceptional ability to laugh at herself. It is no secret that she is – how shall I put this? – a bit clumsy at times. I mean, falling over whilst walking up the stairs to collect your Oscar (which she won for her amazing performance in Silver Linings Playbook) has got to be one of the most embarrassing things imaginable for celebrities, but Jennifer carried it off with her head held high and within seconds had the entire awards ceremony laughing and cheering her on.

You could not find a better role model for young people than Jennifer Lawrence, teaching us all to be proud of who we are. As if this wasn’t enough, she is also a very strong advocate for not forcing young girls to strive for the unhealthy ‘size zero’ phenomena and has even been quoted as saying: “"Be comfortable. What are you going to do? Be hungry every single day to make other people happy? That's just dumb." Amen to that sister!

Get the Look

As you can imagine, Jennifer’s style is very much reflective of her personality, in that her willingness to accept herself for who she is, without bowing down to Hollywood stereotypes, shines through beautifully in the way she carries herself – no matter what she’s wearing.

Therefore, this is one of the simplest assignments yet because all you need to do is find your nicest t-shirt (Les2Coquettes, obviously ;-) ) and pair it with some clean cut jeans, denim shorts or maybe even a colour-popping maxi skirt, then just go out and have a lovely day with friends, family, whoever – not giving two hoots what the rest of the world thinks. It really is as easy as that… Jennifer, we love you.
